Rap

I recently changed my rap prefrence ro mostly underground atuff. Underground is like people without a label basically people that havnt goten famous yet. In my opinion their alot better. One guy i really like is casey veegies. Hes a young black artist who already has songs with kendrick lamar and mac miller. He has pretty good lyrics and aome good beats too. He talks about the same stuff that all the other rappers talk about but i think i like him because hes really young he just graduated from highschool and i guess i can kinda relate to what hes saying. Also meek mills is really good two him and casey veggies are really familiar exept meek mills is a little more famous.

The movie

We watched a guitar movie in class and not gonna lie i fell asleep. Though i did watch like the forst twenty minutes and like the last ten. I really liked the way the young gothic looking guy played. I teally liked when he was playing with his kid. But he was kinda an asshole and that wasnt cool. And i really liked it at the end how they just rocked out in the end and it sounded awesome it just blew my mind how they can just make good music right off the top of their heads like they did.

Arctic monkeys

The arctic monkeys are awesome their probably the only band i can say i liked from listening to the radio. I herd " do i wanna know" on the radio and i was instantly hooked on them. After that i went home amd sure enough i really liked their album but i have to say my favorite song isnt "do i wanna know" but "are you mine". I just like everything about them how they sound, their lyrics and how they just rock out!

Ben howard

While i was looking for new music i could listen to i stubbled upon ben howard. I remembered ben howard from last year at ACL. Ben howard reminds me alot of bon iver and i really like bon iver. I like ben goward because he has such an original voice  and like bon iver he has such unique sounds and really makes beautiful music with his guitar. And since last years ACL he has cone out with some new stuff and i have to say its good i really like it.

Bon iver

It thses past few weeks my interest in music has changed alot and one choice that i really love is bon iver. Bon iver is crazy good i feel like he has the most original sounds and and like all gis music is original its just awesome. He has this one song called "helocene" and the guitar in the begining is just amazing. I really like bon iver.

The beatles

I dont think i ever wrote a blog dedicated to the beatles even though thats all we talked about for the longest time. I really liked the songs you played of the end of revolver and the one from abby rode. But i couldnt beleive that they hadnt had their stuff on sale untill reacently. We really left me wondering how did they make a profit all these years without selling any of their stuff. I use spotify and im kinda bumed that none of their stuff isnt on their because i really like a few if their songs but im sure i could find the download some where.

Shovels and ropes

Since i recently started listening to country i been doing my research to try and find bands that i like. I remembered to when we were in class and we were doing ACL reasearch and found a band called shovels and ropes. I remembered that one song we herd it was called "birmingham". Although its like a litlle more hick country i like them and "birmingham" has become my favorite song so far.

Country music

Iv never really been faund of country music untill recently. I always thought it was annoying and cery hick like. Well like three weeks ago i was with a friend and ge played this country song it was called "southern girl" and i really liked it. It wasnt like most annoying country songs. Then i went home and kinda made my playlist of country music. I think country music is something you hav to be happy in order to enjoy because iv tried listening to it while im like in a bad mood and just sounds like shit. But so far i really like country.

This week in music

This week in music i have started listening to really ghetto rap artist. I honestly havr no idea why im listening to it. These are the type of song you here at a party when everyone is drunk and an they think listening to this music will get them hype as shit when it acctuallity it sucks no matter what. The reason i thi k i starte listening to it is cause i do like the beats but listening to the lyrics just ruins it. I like song with alot of base and lound backgroud noises but those songs usually end up with a rapper who when he raps doesnt even sound like english.

The beatles movie

Last time in class we watched a beatles movie. Unlike most of the class i watched and i honestly hated it. The one we watched before was acctually funny and had a better plot and i think the black and white made it better aswell. This one we recently watched didnt have a good plot and was just silly, and i could barely understand what the foreigners where saying. If i had to say my favorite part it was when they sang as if they where recording a music video. I hope the next one we watch is as good as the first.

This week in class

This week in class we listend to the who and i really liked them i like alot more than the stones. Now that i acctually listend to the stones im really wondering why they were so famous they sucked. I wonder why the who wasnt much bigger they were alot better in my oppinion even though they had a crazy fuckig drummer. Another thing rock and rollers where fucking insane. They did some fucked up shit and got away with it because they were famous it just blows my mind

Reggie watts

Yesterday before i fell asleep i listend to reggie watts and it was awesome hes amzing at making music and its even better because he makes it himself on the spot. And to think i wouldnt have hers of him with out mr a is pretty cool

Music in the last week

Music in the last hasnt really been new to me its been just kinda the same shit over and over an do t get me wrong i like my music im just waiting for something new to drop. I went to kid cudi's concert friday and it was pretty shity i did t enjoy it and i think one of the resons was because i was in a sweat and im really not one to sit and watch a concert. So thats been my past week in music for me

What is rock and roll

What is rock and roll? To me rock and roll is sound of rebellion i never thought of this question until you brought it up in class. I dont listen alot of "rock and roll" but do listen to rap and when you said odd future to you is rock and roll i really agreed. They dont use non of the sterio types but they do rebel and make sure people know they rebel.

hello mr a its Christian aka chanch. this weekend i went to acl and enjoyed the music. sense acl i have stared to listen to more alternative music rather than rap. like walk the moon and daws. i realy wish i would go back this weekend to see the bands that that i missed like tame impala, passion pit, and vampire weekend.  titty sprinkles

first blog

hello mister a im doing my blogs finally. i didn't like that guy we listened to in class mostly cause i couldn't understand what he was saying and the harmonica was annoying. that movie we watched was pretty entertaining. i liked it cause it gave good background because it gave a good background about all the music in our life.

Hey mister A this is cristian and im glad to say that im blogging for the third time this six weeks. Its Thursday and I cant belive ACl is tomorrow and I did what you said and went home and got a laptop and a internet and im researching some of the artist right now as I type these words. I thought It would be smart to actually reaserch what im going to see rather than get there and be clueless. I really like the arctic monkeys and shovels and rope and I like phoenix I might go see one of these bands its defenetly a possibility. well mister a ima go back and listen to my stuff ill be blogging from acl tmrw hopefully if im able to:).
